Get Listed

Listing is free. It always will be.
If you run something local that neighbors can show up to, we want people to find it. Here is what qualifies, what to send us, and how we decide where it shows.

What qualifies

Events with alcohol are welcome. Tell us if it’s 21 and over and we’ll mark it. The one thing we can’t list is a campaign event, or anything for or against a candidate. That rule applies to every 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Two kinds of listings

Which one you get depends on one question: does it keep happening?

Keeps happening

Ongoing

A weekly class, a monthly open mic, a group that meets on a schedule. Something a person can still go to next month.

Shows on
The Calendar, the Inspirations page, and Discovery Journey results
Stays up
As long as you keep running it
Happens once

Event

A party, a concert, a workday, a festival. One date, or once a year.

Stays up
Through the day it happens, then it comes down by itself

What to send us

Timing

Keeping it current

If your time, place, price, or contact changes, tell us and we’ll fix it. For ongoing listings we check in every few months. If something has stopped running, or we can’t reach anyone about it, the listing comes down. It can go back up whenever you start again.

Ready?

Pick “Hosting something” on the contact form and paste in your details.
